VUDU Movie Service Coming to PS3

What comes as somewhat of a suprise, a new move service for PS3 is heading our way. No its no the music services or anything of that nature, its yet another movie service.

VUDU is instant streaming of HD films and HDX films, with a few added bonus. Ok, well maybe just one bonus. All new movies will be added instantly when they release, which will give the store a advantage over the PSN Store's weekly updates. Other than that, there isn't much more to it and there seems to be no other advantage to it. Other than a somewhat clean look, features Netflix recently released, everything remains the same. Even the overpriced movie rentals are the same.

Its kind of odd Sony used the "we don't want Netflix conflicting with our store" excuse a year ago, and now they just don't bother. But hey, its cool the more free features the better. The only thing I wish is these streaming services could provide better prices. Redbox offers 1 dollar rentals for 24 hours, the same amount of time offered through these servies, and Blockbuster will give you five to seven days for the price. Thats physical copies, something more pricey to handle, so whats the big deal?
