Black Ops Estimated Sales Over 7 Million
Call of Duty Black Ops was already begining to break records with over 4.5 million pre-orders before it released, but more records seem to be getting smashed. With the game just recently releasing, sales estimates have been coming in and show even bigger numbers.According to VGCharts, yes not official, Black Ops has sold over 7 million units. This would of course give the game a bigger opening day than Modern Warfare 2 and make it the largest in entertainment. Sales broke down from region to region show USA with 3 million units, 2 million in the UK, and smaller numbers elsewhere. Xbox 360 is obviously leading the way thanks to exclusive marketing campeigns, but PS3 users are right there with them.These numbers can somewhat be confirmed thanks to over 4 million players currently playing the title on Xbox Live and around the same amount of on PlayStation Network.
